Everywhere I've looked, places have said that you need to be a master in feint to do it barehanded. Even CMAN HELP FEINT says, "Other Requirements: A weapon to feint with (Rank 5 masters may feint bare-handed)."

And yet:

[Roll result: 229 (open d100: 65) Penalties: 3]
You feint to the left, the thyril buys the ruse and twists awkwardly to block the blow that never came!
Roundtime: 3 sec.

You glance down at your empty hands.

D, your Combat Maneuver training is as follows:

Skill name Mnemonic Ranks

You are Guild Master of the Warrior Guild.

You have 3 ranks in the Disarm Weapon skill.

You are a Master of Berserk.

You have 27 ranks in the Warrior Tricks skill.

You are a Master of Tackle.

You are a Master of War Cries.

You have 2 ranks in the Batter Barriers skill.

100 ranks in CM and Brawling, if that matters too.

Odd.

Did you have it at rank 5 through the CM list at one point?

Nope. Never trained in it on the CML.

Sounds like a feature, not a bug. I'd be quiet about it.

I bet you it is considering your Fists as a brawling weapon, since you are trained in Brawl. Would make sense in a way to be able to feint without a weapon if not mastered but trained in Brawling...Unless it's not working as intended, I guess you could pick up 1 rank in brawl and test it, then ditch the rank etc

But I don't see any ranks there in Feint period - maybe warrior tricks?

Ranks in Warrior Tricks give the same effect as training in both Feint and Spin Attack (although you need to hit something like 10 ranks for feint and 30 for sattack.)

You also get Stance Perfection somewhere in there, which is the guild name for Combat Mastery. The one that lets you change your stance by 10 and 5% instead of 20%, which would be useful if any warrior used more than 2 stances.

(WTRICK Appraise is nice too; it lets you see the stance of all the creatures in the room.)
