View Full Version : Sanctified, shock-resistant leg greaves

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the ora leg greaves in your hand...

The harmonics generated tell you that the greaves has been sanctified for use by a Cleric or Paladin in the fight against the undead. The magical harmonics reveal that legs are better protected when wearing the ora leg greaves.

The greaves resonates with your voice, revealing some details of its temporary enhancement:
The greaves's enhancement will degrade when the wearer is struck in combat.
It should be able to withstand an incredible amount of uses before its enhancement has completely degraded away.
When its enhancement has degraded away, the item will simply return to normal.

As your song penetrates the ora leg greaves, you determine that it is moderately resistant to shocking attacks.


Give them 1608 flares and go to town with Sweep or such. Also good for resisting being zapped by the water in Nelemar, I imagine.

Paladins don't get sweep. Only maneuver paladins have that can activate flares is Bull Rush.

What I really meant by my quick reply was that I wish the list was better able to take advantage of a spell native to the paladin circle (Guiding light) SBash/Scharge are good, but bullrush is wimpy. I also wish some of the warrior/monk Cmans were available to paladins.

Edit: Pondering more, I think paladins should have the most available Cmans behind warriors and rogues. I haven't counted though, so it may already be the case.

Bull rush is fine, but I meant for these greaves. There doesn't seem to be a point to their being sanctified, unless monks are going to get a wtfpwn kick that uses sanctified greaves ...

Hey, there's a thought. Selling some GREAVES for MONKS. Get your monk armor here! Be the most badassest monk out there!

Might just keep them, actually, and see if that's the case.

A few people including myself have been pushing for 1608 to be able to give reactive flares to sanctified armor on the Paladin boards. Hopefully a GM will make it so.

This is why I bought that sanctified aventail for 1 coin. I'm hedging that vampires will become a real problem some day and it will be worth 50 million.
