Are the rumors true? Is the funniest show in the history of television (okay tied with Seinfeld) coming back to the air? From what I heard, not just in reruns, they are full out starting production again. I haven't been able to confirm this rumor, however.

This show is funny shit. If you haven't watched it, give it a shot and buy the DVD's. You will be pleased.

I hear Fox is in talks with them after it was the #1 selling DVD last year.

Fox lost their chance, man. Family Guy is the new Star Trek. They both aren't nearly as good as the hype they get, and they both got popular after being cancelled (and, of course, they both have Shatner) (wait, that wasn't him?).

I love Shatner in Family Guy. The random positions they move him in are absolutely hilarious.

I just want to add: Family Guy has some incredibly funny moments. Unfortunately, moments != half hour. My two favs are the KISS commercial where Ace Friehly (close enough) abruptly yells out "Rock and roll!!" and Gene tells him to sit in the corner OMG I was crying. The other is the ep where Brian gets the hots for Lois and psuedo-tells Peter who says "Oh my God!" <long pause> "You can talk!" Classic.

Brian and Quagmire are my favorites. Anything out of Quagmire is hilarious.

Latrin, there aren't many shows that are nonstop funny for 30 minutes. Family Guy isn't overhyped...if it was, it wouldn't have been cancelled. It's a damn good show, and people are just beginning to realize that. It pushes every limit there is, which is the same reason I enjoy South Park.

As to the favorite episode: The one where they go gambling in the Indian casino. At the end, there's the crack on Canadians. Priceless. I almost died.
