I addressed this briefly in this post (http://forum.gsplayers.com/showpost.php?p=898775&postcount=187) in an earlier thread.

I watched the press conference on C-SPAN when AG Holder said what he said, but at no time did he state unequivocally that the raids would end.

It is a touchy situation for any administration, as the executive branch is charged with enforcing the laws. If they "turn a blind eye" to the law in this instance they will leave themselves open for some valid criticism.

Don't take this wrong, as I am for legalization (especially for medical usage), but his lack of clarity on how the Justice Department will handle federal marijuana laws, combined with the predicament of (possibly) selectively enforcing them, leaves me waiting before I send up a cheer.
