I don't have the time to actually do the busy work and construct it but I'm hoping someone that has free time will finish it. Almost every crit is accounted for, the only thing that need be done now is formatting. My hope is that when someone actually lines up the crits in appropriate order, I can then do an analysis on troll weakness to fire crits.

Attached is the spreadsheet.

Below is the code too. It looks horrid but pasting it into Excel should work fine. Huzzah?

It's crit damage from Immolation. Since it can use up to 4+ cycles of crit damage, I figured that would be the absolute easiest way to go.

However, like all crit damage from spells (and god damn flares from weapons too) a number of crits actually do differing damage sometimes than their standard amount; I ran into this problem when I was constructing the earth/vibe/impact table. If a crit had differing damage frequencies, I would go with the highest frequency but if they were close, I would try to back it out via wizard bolt. It can take for-fucking-ever to get a rank 7 left eye crit though.

But, at any rate, the actual table needs to be constructed. I've just provided a lot of the data. I literally got 2 task items from work at 10:45 PM so . . . I've got even more work tomorrow :(

Here's the fire crit table almost complete. I collected my own data since using critters susceptible to fire gets too confusing with the bonus damage. I also included the rank 0 messaging (damage message but too little to cause a critical)

These are the baseline numbers, however I am still missing four of the eye crit messages. I ran out of patience trying to obtain those.

I used trolls initially and found too much variability with the damage, so I gathered this data from other critter types that showed no extra damage.

Even though the messaging is missing for the eye crits, I believe that the damage associated with the crit ranks listed will be accurate.

Just so you know, all my the criticals were against Triton Radicals so basically you wasted a assload of time gathering crits unnecessarily.

But hurray for the table! Someone put it on KP?

Hey! For accurate baseline values the spreadsheet had only limited usefulness. There were no messages associated with crit damage values of 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 12 or 17.

Other values were inaccurate. Eg. Rank9 left eye is shown in the spreadsheet with 45 damage. This is clearly incorrect. Nor were there any crits with 70 damage. I could give numerous other examples but then I would really be wasting my time. :)

Since I couldn't trust the accuracy of the data, I decided to collect it myself. It didn't actually take that long to do this.

However, that's the nature of the beast when using Immolation or weapon flares to construct the crit tables; it's always irked me there isn't widespread standardization.

The fact that a single crit jumps up/down in damage when used in spells like DC, Immo, vibe chant, etc. is simply retarded. I've asked GMs numerous times and I've never gotten a straight answer.

I found the elusive NINJAS and corrected the table. Rank 5 wasn't missing at all! What I thought was rank 6 (20 damage) is actually rank 5. Messaging for a right eye rank 8 and a left eye rank 9 was missing. The table is now complete and should be accurate.
