Haters!

Back! Back to your own threads!

This is all about the glory that shall belong to the mighty Joisey!

1 month until March Madness.. LETS GO HAWKS. St Joes baby, school I almost went to, would've went there if not for Penn Sate. And 2 months until Baseball starts, heh, I love baseball. But yeah, my life has always revolved around football sports wise.

Oh, and yeah Nets are winning again, congrats. Sixers coach got fired, I don't care too much about basketball though so I'm not worried.. Now if New Jersey beats us in hockey again I'll be a little pissed

Only basketball teams near me are the Wizards. I'll leave it at that.

On a side note, my school was only down 3 points to Duke with about 10 minutes left to play in the game. They wound up losing by 20.

Yah, LeBron got his self schooled by the Nets tonight thankyouverymch.

Course he is still a very young rookie so give him some time.

Yao is pretty scary to think about when you consider he is also still maturing.

But enough of that, Back the the PainTrain that Jersey is becoming.

Coming soon to wreck some havok on a team near you.

Edaarin

Yao would be a lot better if Houston knew how to use them. "Hmm. Should I let my 4 three point shooters pass the ball around, or should I figure out how to work it into my 7'5 center who has a soft stroke from 18 feet and can pass?" Retards.

Who in their right mind is a Nets fan? Brooklyn Nets, hah. Seriously tho, what's going on with you. That's like being a Browns or a Clippers fan. It's all about the Knickerbockers and Starbury.

To be honest, I root for the Knicks unless of course they are playing the Nets in which case they gots to go.

And Right now the knicks are comprised of Nets rejects, not bad players, just ones that didnt quite make the cut so that should help you figure out why they can never beat us.:P

The nets could go on a 30 game win streak.. win their division... sail through the playoffs...

And still get the shit pounded out of them in the Finals. There are probably 6 or 7 teams in the West that will trounce them. Hardly seems fair.

Skirmisher

Last year I would have agreed entirely.

This year however is not last year.

The west is no longer as unbeatable as they were.

Still playing on average better? Yes. Just not at the same level with the possible exception of Sacramento.

Pacers. Bow down to them and I won't laugh too hard when you get beaten like trekkies that ended up at a Hells Angels get together.

Skirmisher
02-12-2004, 06:50 PM
Ohhh my sweet Anticor, I will shed a tear when the Nets have to spank those Pacers yet again come playoff time.

How quickly some forget the abuse Mr Oniel took at Kmarts hands . It was long, it was painful it took them out of the playoffs.

The Nets turn it up come post season, just ask Jermaine and Antoine. Two recipients of some plain awful spankings.

Yah, Peja and co are looking pretty damned good and SA can always put a nice string together as could potentialy LA or Dallas but i'll stick my money on Pejas boys to make it right now.

They are one tough team alright, but anyone else in the east? Methinks not.

Well this season is a bust for us Celtics fans...

But good news is...HEY! VIN BAKER'S MISSED HIS 10TH GAME TONIGHT..so that $30 mil contract is GONE GONE GONE...and so is he!! WOO HOO!! ::jumps for joy::

Basketball is pretty boring. I liked to play it, but man, watching it on TV is like watching a marathon. Up down up down shoot up down up down shoot. You could watch the last five minutes of any game and that's where all the excitement is. If the issue ain't in down in the last five, then it was a boring blowout. It's sorta like arena football or indoor soccer.

Now hockey is THE sport.

(Except I don't blame the Celts for cutting Baker loose. He had what, a good first week this year and never did anything again?)

Hey, the Nets have had their share of contract pains this year too Weedie.

First we ate Mutumbos contract, jeees what a great move that was.

And then we took on Mourning in a second stroke of genius:O

Its taken us this long to recover from the early season idiocy.

Hope the players union doesnt get their way in this instance. They shouldnt anyway.

I'd rather watch curling than the NBA.

It's just terrible. They can't even score 80 points a game anymore because the talent level is so low with all the little highschoolers running around.

And when the Nets move to Brooklyn, will you wax poetic about them?

When the leave Joisey and return to New York, into the city that will become the new center of the world, BROOKLYN!

When they come here, then I'll care about their 13 game winning streak against the Hawks and the rest of the inept Eastern Confrence. They did take out Detroit, and then the Hornets twice, but look at who they have been beating up.

Still 13 games is 13 games. You're supposed to beat the teams beneath you and the Nets have been doing that...

I've lost all interest in basketball. It's been on a steady decline in the past couple years. There are a handful of players that give a damn about the game, the others don't give a shit how they play as long as the team 'CTC,' as Rasheed Wallace so eloquently put it.

Kenyon Martin and his pink undies just helped the Jersey Juggernaut to win number FOURTEEN baybee.

Tonights victim? Totonto.

Bow down baybee!

I took a few years break from basketball, but now I'm starting to get back into it. I mean, living in Chicago, you can only take so many championships! At some point, you need a breather.

I might be MILDLY impressed if they can beat the T'wolves. I honestly don't see that happening though..unless like Cassell's bug eyes pop out his head, Sprewell breaks one of his legs and Garnett like...dies.
