I owned one for a while, I liked it. It had unique situational uses. Coming from the rift to Icemule you could look into TC for a target to fog to instead of waiting for someone to reply to your thought. If someone died in Pinefar you were able to see if there body was at the trading post. Also several times I was able to track someone with it because they went to the locations the scrying crystal looked at.

If you're a wizard, then you can use the scrying crystals like a multi-setting teleporter. Just peek at the various rooms, and (assuming there's someone sitting there) send a familiar and open a gate.

Sad to see this sell for under 10mil. Granted, it is fluff for the most part. I enjoy items like these though.

I wish they'd get re-tooled to remove some of the locations that are now useless and seldom used, and replaced with some in the EN.

I only sold it because I had 2 of them. I had 4 people try to buy it within 5 minutes of posting it. lol. Thats why I took it down so fast to stop the messages. Lultz messaged me and said he was coming to buy it then Earthdiver randomly appeared in front of me with 8 mil. (thank Belnia for that!) I thought he was Lutz coming to buy it so I sold it to him, then lutz shows up with the money.. I thought they were the same person. lol. If anyone wants my other scryer, 20m. lol. I thought 8 was alot for it... guess not! I'd rather keep it anyway.

These kinds of items are rarely seen because someone buys it and takes it to their grave with them. Coins can be replaced and it seems like most people have way too many now a days!

I wish they would to. I got my scrying crystal at the premium token auction way back when and not really knowing what it did I sold it for 7m to someone. I was rich! I bought a consolation cloak and several other items and still had money left over. Years later someone posted one for sale in their player shop for 13m and I bought it about 5 minutes later. Great little item.

I agree they need a merchant who can add EN locations and if it could be made wearable, like wearing on a chain, that would be great.
