I swear there are fewer girl scout cookies in the packages this year. :(

Thin Mint packaging is horrible now. Half my cookies were crumbled. And they don't seem as good. I think GSoA is trying to cut corners on ingredients.

And they were charging $3.50 a box, was it tree fitty last year?

Four bucks a box this year.

I was obligated to buy. A coworker actually brought her daughter to work and sat her in the hallway with a signup sheet.

I don't get girl scouts in my area. I get some random kids carrying around $7.50 a box of shady looking cookies. I think last year the kids were asking for $10 and pocketing $2.50

I don't get kids in my neighborhood going door to door, so last year I looked up on the Girl Scouts website to see when they'd be at my local supermarket (or wherever local), and I went down that day to buy them.

Girl Scouts are too young for bush.

Yeah, this year there are lower ounces per package, and the cookies reels are clearly smaller. The price here was $4, when last year I paid $3. I'm done buying from these little whores.

What Ponzzz said ... they reduced the quantity per package, but it doesn't end there.

Last year they went with a new bakery in some areas, and changed up the recipes, names, and offerings. The result in this area ended up being a greater profit margin per box.

The sad thing is that the cookies weren't much better, sometimes worse than, anything you can get off the shelf at the store.

Judging from the reception my girls and nieces have received ... next year is going to suck for the scouts across the board.

I am probably the only one on the entire internet that got that reference, but that is one of my favorite South Park episodes.
