Yes numbers haven't been allowed since before even GS3 was at AOL (95 or earlier) when I first played both Eyes1 and Waldo2 walked the land, so old as dirt these two are.

Since Chadj finds it necessary to cap on himself, I will follow suit. If Finiswolf and Filswolf were not two of my three main characters I would delete and start over. However, 70 plus combined trains later, screw that.

Given the opportunity, I would rename to Finis and Fils. Simple and short. besides, I am seeing too damn many wolf/wulf's every friggin where anymore!

Dictionary I had when I did the two names, said finis = end of the line in a noble family ... blah blah blah, and fils is son, which happens to make sense, since Fils is Finis's son.

But, I have no clue, nor do I know French, just sounded interesting when I did it..., there was a ring to it or something.

Yea, I did some research, I wanted something that made since, and at the time, Finis was going to be my one and only character, so it made sense at the time.

Did a little research, Fils is french, and finis, as you guessed, is latin. Though my definition is not exact, its kinda close.

Still, a person's name is no reason to make you go ooc (assuming you've never met them) or even to refuse to roleplay with someone. (assuming something more than their name is keeping you from it)

Yes, there are lots of names that suck. Yes, I've posted some. That's just how I feel about interacting with others. I might be gritting my teeth at the name but my character shouldn't be judging someone based on their name alone. Not that I can think of a plausible reason why someone would have that as a nickname.
