MBP + leg greaves and armor use question

I'm currently in a MBP, and I"m hoping to find a pair of flaring leg greaves to add. How much armor training would that take? Is it just the same as augmented plate?

It would require the same training as half plate. If you are gonna go that route just wear half plate with the greaves unless your MBP is pretty special.

I'm assuming the greaves would be a lot easier to come by though?

If you can find some cheap flaring MBP, that's awesome, but unless you're planning to use MBP as your end-game armor, I wouldn't really bother getting an amazing set of it, or flaring it with PPs. Mtenda's advice is good.
