Bluetooth Trouble

So I bought the Sony PS3 bluetooth headset a while back. Worked fine, no problems, etc.

Couple weeks later I bought an adapter for my PC to make it bluetooth enabled. Everything detected fine and worked ok.

I went to use it on my PS3 again the other day and it wouldn't work. I re-paired it and it detected everything fine, but it still wouldn't work. Opened up Ventrilo on my PC to see if it still worked over there, and it didn't.

I also can't get the fucker to turn off. The box says hold the power button for 5 seconds until it starts flashing fast and then it'll turn off. Tried that, and after the fast blinking, the green light just blinks once every 5-6 seconds like it normally does.

It's been doing it for days now and I can't get the fucker to turn off. All I can do is go in and out of discovery mode.

I just called Sony and they're gonna let me exchange it, but it still blows my mind because I can't figure out wtf the problem is.

Can you only have a bluetooth device paired with one thing and one thing only? Or can you normally switch back and forth between different things?

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm totally clueless on this one unless the headset itself just took a giant dump.

Yeah that's the best I can do... some time ago I managed to crop out just the hands. I'm not subjecting myself to that again (I'm pretty sure the original has a chopped off hand too... I'm just going to blame it on that creepy looking tooth with the smile... he ate the rest of the hand).

Last time I checked the majority of bluetooth devices could only be connected to one thing at a time, as to whether or not this caused a problem or not I don't know.

When they say designed for gaming they're strictly talking about the design of the earpiece where it has the rounded speaker that just kind of sits on your ear as opposed to a bud that enters inside the ear, which can be uncomfortable after an hour or two.

Looks like the headset has known issues with wigging out on people, you might ponder getting a non "gamer" branded headset and see what happens. And no most newer bluetooth headsets aren't required to one device at a time, its quite common to pair up two devices minimum.
