They've actually made pretty decent strides in making those messages more IC and less jarringly out of place. Yes, they still can be, but it HAS gotten better. I don't think they can mark a series of rooms as underwater, but it might be wise to ask on the boards if they can. They might be able to flag them all as no-MHO/CHE/GM/ETC message.

lol. My last GM [Send] was underwater too. I had canned my climbing as a way of getting into the Moor and was trying to find the hisskra entrance.

It was something like:

GM Lady [Send] What are you doing?

I think I reported something like:

It was because I had a bugged item that was sending screamers everytime I swam to a different room.

I think you can still swoon/meditate/do other strange crap that doesn't make any sense while you're swimming, at least when you're floating.

You can hear things while you're underwater... I don't think just because it's underwater you shouldn't hear it.

I did however, find it rather jarring and obnoxious ... and then it came a second time. Also /facepalm at the stereotyped spelling...

They should of given the message a good Prussian accent, like the Warrior Guild NPC's. At the very least, it would scare the heck out of those sissy French-Sylvans into running away...
