Yes, our showers are icky. Not nearly as bad as the boy's showers, but... bleh. Any smart person would wear flipflops.

Even though the showers and everything here are bleached to the point where it hurts your eyes to walk into the bathroom every morning, EVERYBODY wears flipflops into the shower. Soap or not, I don't want water that's been touching guy's armpits and groins to touch my feet. Its bad enough we have to share 4 showers to 40 students.
And I don't want athlete's foot.

Never at home. there's a level of trust that exists within a family, plus, it's a bathtub and not some rough floored shower. the smooth surface is easier to clean and nasties can't find cracks to hide in. As for showering with some chick. Whatever, if I'm showering with her, that's a level of the relationship that includes other things to it, therefore my trust in her cleanliness is already assured. Now, showering with my girlfriend in a dorm... I'm still wearing flipflops.

I walk around barefoot in the summer.

I have alwayrs and WILL always wear clogs into the shower at my dorm.

The only tough part about it is the little shelves they give you for soap/shampoo aren't very good, and when I reached out for balance the first week or so I'd keep knocking my shampoo on the flo'. So I'd have to boil it, which takes FOREVER.

Anyway, no clogs at home.
