How many times can you read the same post and ask the same question? READ the post. It doesn't assess, sing or AI crystal as weighted and it never has. If it had, I never would have assisted back then to be sure it was weighted. READ.

I know the item has a long provinance and some folks don't like to read, but as you can imagine, I can't take the time to explain it to every person who asks. Thus, the link. If you're interested, READ. If not, don't, but don't post when you're ignorant of the facts.

As for the flat price, an offer is a flat price. I'm not auctioning it. If I get an offer I like, I'll sell it. If not, I'll probably list it again someday. I appreciate the interest.

Um...edge weapon training? The only weapons that require multiple skills to use effectively are katars and katanas (one handed). Maybe you're thinking bastard sword..but that doesn't require ohe/thw. You can use it either way effectively without training in the other (ie..you don't need thw training to use it 1 handed, unlike a katana)

You do know that some unassessable weapons can now be assessed, I think that's why they are asking.

It is now possible to have both flares and weighting on an item. The auction at EG'06 had a razern weapon that also had lightning flares. An acid flaring 0x claidhmore was raffled off at the Landing summer party. It CAN be done now, but again, I want to see logs of this in action with a shot that can calculated out to show the weighting, AND a flare on the same hit.

I didn't read it all. But wouldn't a loresong show both flares and weighting. Not how much weighting but at least you'd be able to prove that it had both.

EDIT: okay I read where it says sing. Weird. I guess Belnia's way is the only way you'll get some credibility as to how real this is.

Given its age, and the remote chance that a script is handling both facets as its been said before over and over and over again on the officials that an item can generally only have one special ability due to the way GS is based, I highly doubt it has both.

still waiting to see some posts of hits in a non-ambush attack.. Its going to be easy enough to verify with simple math. Not sure why none have ever been posted.

As for the weighting AND flares at the same time.. gonna have to say not bloody likely. I loaned out my razor shap mith claid back when Hortingers wagon first appeared to a friend who couldn't make it into game that week. He stumbled on a merchant who was adding flares. Merchant happily added vibe flares to the claid.. and my friend brought it back happy with what he had done. When I swung it, the game would hang.. I did this 4 times trying to figure out what was wrong and was pulled. They rebuilt my claid and sent me back into the game..

So no... I don't see it happening
