Brilliant.

But I have to say this in defense of badass Bale...

He was in the middle of the most emotional scene of the movie. I’m not surprised at his emotional outburst.

I enjoyed it.

Family Guy never really recaptured the magic after the third season. It's been hit-or-miss since, with the number of bad episodes outnumbering the good.

I still have a hard time watching Family Guy after the South Park parody.

Agreed. Still the best show in the Animation Domination lineup IMO though. Simpsons has been washed up for years. King of the Hill is what it is. And I just could never get into American Dad that much.

That entire episode was brilliant, imho.

It was pretty good, but did you notice the amount of filler they had in it? There were more breaks for songs, random stuff, and absolute nonsense in it than usual, and don't get me wrong, that stuff is funny, but I think they had the balance of it off on this episode. Overall it was pretty good though, but I do agree that it's hit or miss after the third season or so. Seems like they're stretching to find new stuff to do.
