Brits have the best titles for jobs. First Sea Lord. I mean, how do you top that?

I think I've told this story on here before, but it's good enough to post again.

My uncle worked/works for Electric Boat (He can't tell us what he actually does).

So one day a sub was coming out of the harbor in Groton, CT. We're sailing in the harbor and the wind dies. Fucking nuclear sub almost crashes in to us. There must have been ten sailors that jumped out on to the top of the sub and started yelling at us on loudspeakers. BARELY got out of the way. Good times.

Edit: Another funny story is that the guy who invented the Artificial Heart, Robert Jarvik, owned his own island in the same harbor. I saw the guy crashing a helicopter and slamming his hovercraft into his house. Memories.

Oh, and I crashed my boat into Clint Eastwood's island. Not my fault, the engine died.

I take it you were sailing, then?

Two different boats. Sailing in Groton, and a fishing boat in Branford, CT.

Sailing is just about the best thing going, I think.
