Monks getting own list.

Interesting news. Monks will be getting their own list of manuevers designed specifically for the NEW UNARMED combat system. They will also be getting the ability to teach their "moves" to other monks and to other professions with some moves being barred due to obvious balance issues. Further, it looks like Monks will have access to self armor spell that gains crit padding/damage padding as they train in lores, whether or not this will stack with GoS is uncertain.

FACT: 2nd level spell in the minor mental list will provide some of the benefits of heavier armor if the caster is in robes. This will increase with Minor Mental ranks and Transformation lore. No padding included.

The "catch" will be a full, new magical sphere. From the clips I've seen, Mental spells are handled COMPLETELY different than any spell in the game right now. It's truly innovative how they're coding it. I look forward to figuring the whole new sphere out, especially savants.

Monks don't exist, nor has any information been even released about them really, aside from Minor details.
