So,.. Tsin left and sold (selling) all of his goodies as we speak, Kookiegod's character (ardwen? ) is beginning to sell off, and a whole bunch of rich elanthians are beginning to unload their goodies.

I'm also noticing that in the past month or so the population hasn't ever reached above the 400's... are we in a GS downward spiral? Is this a depression rather then a recession?

Your thoughts.

I'm pretty sure Ardwen unloaded his coins / non-keepsake gear a few years ago.

Tsin selling off is no surprise to anyone. I don't think anyone quit playing just because of him and will come back now that he's gone, but there you have it.

kookiegod can chime in with what his plans are, but I'd be surprised if he's selling out since it doesn't seem like he really needs the cash.

Wadsworth sold out a long time ago...and the world didn't stop. Starsnuffer, Stealth, Blueland, and a ton of other people have also cashed out...and people keep playing.

I can't imagine that there is a significant amount of resources required to keep Gemstone running. Hell, they keep MO running, and there's what, ten players total?

It's not going anywhere for at least another two years.

#2...I'm just selling some inventory I'm not using to get it back into use rather than locker fodder.

GemStone is actually fairly stable at the moment from what I can see, and for the most part, the staff is doing a good job. Is a bunch more to be done, but what and how and resources are the issue.

I agree. I have no problem with the state of Gemstone atm.

And just to be clear Paul is Avantos (and formerly GM Khaladon). Most of us already know this. I miss Khaladon :hug2:

kookiegod just recently PURCHASED an item from me, so I can also say he is not SELLING out. And if he ever does, it will be a sad day, I would much rather harass him until he sells me his gear instead of him leaving.

....you might be right I'll check back in 10 years or so...:rofl: is it that close to being implemented?

My character was orginally a brawling cleric, then I covereted to a twc brawling paladin and it would be great if I could complete the cycle and finish as a monk, that would be pretty cool.
