Since I am a pro-wrestling geek, the masks in Mehicho, are very symbolic, and the greatest of all time, El Santo, a 40 year career, a huge celebrity and television star, was buried in his mask.

Losing your mask is considered a huge mark of shame or for non masked wrestlers, their hair. Usually, thats a very rare occasion, the end of a blood fued.

One of the best ever was the double hair/double mask match at WWC/AAA 'When Worlds Collide" PPV. The late Eddie Guerrreo and Art Barr took on El Hijo del Santo (El Santo's son) and Octogan.

The crowd hatred for the Americans was off the charts.

Rey Misterio lost his mask in WCW but put it back on in WWE for marketing reasons. Psicosis and Konnan lost theirs as well.

But yah...this was one amazing match.

I'll post a few others later that had great storytelling, and some incredible moves (the Burning Hammer, Canadian Destroyer, nothing from WWE, cause frankly, they suck).

Right before the Filthy Animals stable got started... him, Kidman, Konnan, Eddie Guerrerro. Basically they were tweeners, basically doing Los Gringos Locos in the US.

Man Eddie was the man around the Tampa area. Whenever you ran into him he was super cool.

Lol this guy is nuts but Knobsy is fucking a trip when you run into him at the mall or something. He still wears those funky pants and shit and he'll talk your ear off.

Oh Knobsy = Brian Knobbs for those that don't know.
