Help with Scripts

Hey guys, i wanna set up scripts for my spells to help while hunting

I was thinking of something like

.fire <insert critter here> i.e. .fire kobold

and it would stance off, prep 906, cast kobold, and then go to guarded stance

and i could time .fire rat and it would do the same thing but obv cast at the rat.


Any help with this would be great, Thanks

Use psinet. I used just 415 dog and it would change that to prep 415 cast at dogmatist. I'm pretty sure it can be set up for a stance dance as well.

Still not sure i wanna mess with psinet, can anyone tell me how to set up the script, i can write most of it my self i just dont know how to get it to attack what i put in after .fire

Start:
put prep 906
put stance o
put cast %1%
put stance d
exit

Don't bother with a script though. Macros work much better for this type of thing.

So the Incant command will prep the spell and cast at the first critter in the room?

Yes.

The only reason to use a script would be if you want it to keep casting until the thing is dead.

It will cast at whatever you have targeted. If you have no target, it automatically targets the first creature in the room, but it will keep a target until it's dead or you specifically target something else with the target verb.

One other thing how do i write a macro so i have it promt me on what to type in, i use to have one that would stow my weapon it would promt me to type in what i wanted to pick up, then it would stow it for me and pull my weapon back out
