So I'm a noob with this whole lich thing. I've installed the program but I have no idea how to start it, configure it, etc.

Is there a command I need to type to see some type of option window?

Any advice would be appreciated.

When you run Lich.exe it'll launch SGE for you, log into game type ;help once logged in to get the lich menu.

You failed to read the file DIRECTIONS.txt that came with Lich; start by reading that. Specifically, line 6 that starts with *** PsiNet2 compatibility note: . . .

You might have to clean out your registry which can be a real bitch.

It pays to :rtfm:

Don't worry, I had the same thing happen to me even after I read the instructions and implemented them correctly - I blame Vista. You'll be fine when you sort the registry out.

Also, there are a number of threads already dedicated to Lich/PsiNet; they might be illuminating.

Wait, what?

You really don't understand what I said?

In all seriousness... he's dead on. I had the exact same issue, and fixed it exactly how he said.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume (hope?) that there was just some small nugget of his response that was unclear. Might want to clarify your statement. Or, if you truly didn't get any of that, then perhaps you're better off uninstalling lich and calling it a day.
