I use quick reply for a short responce. Like this one. ;)
I use the quote button for, well, quoting people....
And I use the post reply button for longer responces where I want to preview the post.

Post reply button, always. Bob, despite his current title, is not capable of judging t3h awesomeness of anything.

So I can't really vote with your limited options....
Post reply all the way. Dont really have a reason.
That's between me and my reply thinger! We're very intimate.

I quick reply if the one I am replying to is just above the post I am about to make. I do a reply w/quote if am replying from a previous post from awhile back. I often edit out the reply w/quotes from the one I am replying to.. Unless I want to include it for reference.
I don't like double edits.. and I delete edited by, from the ones I quote.
I hate edits period, but bleh.. Have no ways around it. I like to delete my post and re-post it again without the edit part.
When I scroll back to a thread and saw that I quick replied to someone's post and the one I'm replying to was not above it.. I delete and do a reply w/quote. And vice versa.
Reason: I'm a clean freak.

Urrr ... both?
Should be FOUR options. Add "quote" to the list, and then "Any of the above"
