View Full Version : Alcoven acting in a similar way to Rarr...make yer own mind up (long log)

This happened a little while ago, but because certain folks have real difficulty in believing that Rarr could be Alcoven, I decided to post this.

This was the event that led to Rarr taking issue with Snowy, even though there had been no bad words between the two previously. Shortly after this, same day in fact, Rarr started on the ranger girl, and we know how that ended up.. :)

OK the story starts back in Illistim, where I sense that Alcoven is around the town of Wehnimers Landing.
Off I set to find him and settle an old score, not really caring about how..

When I eventually get there, I find this...


>[Coastal Cliffs]
The mountains rise up majestically to the south, silhouetted against the evening sky where the forest tries to carve life out of the barren rock. You feel very small, caught between these breathtaking summits and the seemingly infinite sea to the north. To the west, the terrain is a jumble of broken rock and steep inclines, making further travel in that direction impractical.

A brisk wind from the Bay lashes against your skin as you move along the coastal cliffs overlooking the deep blue of the Darkstone to the north. Scraggly tree roots dangle from the rock face and provide a crude shelter for nesting fenvaoks. You also see the merchant road.

A few hardy trees cling to the barren, grey cliff's edge, their trunks bowed and their branches twisted by the whipping winds high above the Bay.

The owl takes a look around.

One on one...and he chose to walk away
So I head back into town and think about heading back home...mission accomplished, so to speak


A pure white snow-owl glides into view.
A white owl appears overhead, circling.

The cobbled road girds the town along the inner side of the northern palisade. Just to the north stand the twin sentinels of the gate's guardtowers, silhouetted against the night sky. Guardsmen come and go through the main gates, keeping a close eye on the people of all races who move to and fro. Opposite the gates, you see the shop of Dakris the Furrier. You also see a white owl and a pure white snow-owl that is flying around.

Vigilant night guardsmen scrutinize the citizens and travelers arriving and departing through the wide gateway spanning the land route into Wehnimer's Landing. The cluttered streets of the city to the south are a far cry from the deceptively calm expanse of the wilds of Elanith outside. Two daunting towers survey the countryside and protect the town, flanking the road to the east and west. You also see a wooden barrel.

Alcoven just went through the town gates, dragging you with him.
[Wehnimer's, Outside Gate]
Citizens, merchants and assorted dregs of society jostle against you before the great wooden gates of Wehnimer's Landing. Harried guards and militiamen try to keep the chaos to a minimum, but it is hard to keep track of those entering, let alone leaving, this large trading post. A dirt path encircling the wooden palisade of the town leads east and southwest. Nailed prominently to the wooden wall beside the gate is a sign you really should read. You also see some light leather, a wooden shield, a massive wheeled tower and a Wayside Inn.

You are standing at the northwest corner of the Landing. The path, which bends to the northeast as it moves along this section of the western wall of the fortified trading post. To the west can be seen a dark forest while to the south can be seen a rolling plain of high grasses. You also see a cobblestoned trail leading to a wooded glade.

Looking through the trees here in the outskirts of the forest you can barely make out the grasslands in the distance. You also see a kobold, an overgrown path and a trail leading into the woods.

A small, shaded park fills an old vacant lot behind a row of buildings, the bright lamplight from the square filtering through the passage to the north to illuminate the area with a soft glow. A weatherworn grey marble statue of a stocky human in pioneer's clothing overlooks the park, his stone hat encrusted by the gifts of decades of passing birds and his right hand half-upraised as if it once held some now-missing object. You also see a brown mouse that is sitting and a thick-coated dark crimson aishan.

This corner of the square seems somewhat subdued. Townsfolk pass through on their way to the shops, the bazaar, or the main well at the center of the square. Others hurry past, anxious to get home or go on about their business. You also see a cobblestone walkway leading up to a wrought-iron gate.

Here in the midst of the town stretches the cobblestoned main bazaar, its lamplit lanes abuzz with traders and vendors hawking their wares at any hour of the day or night. Groups of citizens, discussing the day's events or preparing for nighttime hunts, gather around the doors of the merchants whose shops border the square. The gilded but peeling stone facade of the First Elanith Bank dominates this side of the square.

This corner of the square is lively and hectic even at night. A number of representatives of the Landing's population, including several elven loggers and a party of rough-looking dwarves, loiter around the door of the Raging Thrak Inn, where the rowdy cheers of patrons and voices raised in songs of many sorts, from snatches of heroic ballads to blushingly bawdy tunes, beckon you to enter.

The street runs between the northern palisade and the central square to the south and east. The traffic is varied here, as a few traders and travelers mingle on the dark streets with the ever-present and watchful militiamen. The damaged walls of Cholgar's Bathhouse occupy nearly the entire block. You also see a Wehnimer's runner and a ruined wooden rolton with a dilapidated sign on it.

Same with Rarr...comes after you in groups, hides behind better trained friends.

An of course, they are both stupid enough to be the same person, although using that definition, you could say that Hevinsbane is also the same, so... :whistle:

And that doesnt include the crappy OOC stuff that Alcoven/Rarr/Lymbo/Wanion (when he has control of her) gets up to as well.

- Did Alcoven kill Snowdrop when she went hunting or did Rarr kill Snowdrop? If it was Rarr that killed Snowdrop.. why again is Snowdrop trying to kill Alcoven?

- Why even go through the motions of trying to roleplay conflict out with people like this? All that mechanic talk simply means they don't get it.. and that it's not a roleplay.. it's PvP.

-If you are going to use a threat.. then you need to follow up with it when your threat is completely ignored repeatedly. Well, unless you are the UN.

Back on topic: Can warrants expire? I thought that was one of the new features of the justice system. If you stay in Solhaven long enough, will the Wehnimer's constubalary forget about you?

It would be great if you could become such a great criminal in a city, that your sighting elsewhere by the law, could possibly get you deported.

When Snowy became better at hunting, she took revenge with Alcoven. As I tried to explain in previous posts, Snowy had no bad feelings towards Rarr at all, even though I (the player) was aware or alcoven's players cross-dressing tendencies.

Anyway, after the stuff with alcoven (above), Rarr (i.e. Alcoven's player) decides to start on Snowdrop, bringing Rarr into conflict with Snowy.

Snowdrop didnt even look at Rarr until Rarr started.

I don't think they ever expire.. but you can successfully duck the law if you remain in hiding alot. She did the right thing by immediately hiding. Now she will just have to duck the constable.

Wanion is Rarr too? Chica always got on with Wanion quite well but I was never too sure who was playing her since she let some guy play her sometimes. I think when it was the real Wanion I got on ok with her, other times she was mouthy as hell.
