Is there a way to ignore the threads that alexanova is starting? I have it on ignore, but that doesn't block the threads

Kranar should give people with more than X amount of posts (something fairly low, enough to where you know it's a real person that actually posts) the ability to ban people with less than Y amount of posts, and ban anyone that abuses that feature to fuck with legitimate new posters.

That, or implement some sort of ban voting system, if either of those are even possible.

That will never happen. Nice dream though.

A limit on how many posts a new account can make for 48 hours(or w/e time frame)?

He should take apps for a new type of ban-only mod. Preferably someone who is on a lot.

Only admins ban. Letting mods ban would be crazy. Look at what happened when Ilvane took it upon herself to ban someone. It's just not a good idea, especially since these spammers don't show up that often.

Another option is like they do on the WoW formus where you can only create so many new threads or posts in a certain time frame.

Only stop-gap I know of there is a new post every 30 seconds. A maximum amount of threads able to be started isn't a bad idea. Who needs to START more than 10 threads in a day?

I did give him/her an infraction and sent a message saying they would be banned. I don't have much power....

Yeah but...that's Ilvane. That's like removing ninjas from history because of Klaive.

Again with what? Wondering how to get rid of spamming trolls is worth discussing. Maybe Kranar will rub the sleep out of his eyes and BAN THIS MORON!
