The requirements for who can teach whom warcries have been changed. It turns out that the previous requirements were both buggy and didn't make a lot of sense. The new requirements are that the teacher must have either more ranks than the student or the same number of ranks and at least 6 more levels. Enjoy.

There may have just been some confusion over operator precedence. The "and" binds more tightly than the "or", so it's that the teacher must have (more ranks than the student) or (the same number of ranks and at least 6 more levels).

For an explanation of why this actually matters, see the warrior folder on the officials. I don't get it. Guild work is gay.

All it means is that if Warrior A and Warrior B both have 12 ranks of warcry, one can only teach the other if he's 6+ levels higher than the other.

thank goodness. It was way to easy to find a guild partner. I'm glad they narrowed that down!!!!!!!!!1111111!

This is the most idiotic change ever conceived. It doesn't do anything?! Notice Estlid made the change, a venemous pure lover.
A good pure is a dead pure!

Didn't see this post before. This actually makes warcry training a little easier. Good change.

how easier?
the total number of people with more or same ranks (old way) > the total number people with more or same ranks minus people with same ranks and fewer than six levels.(new way)

Actually....that's not exactly correct, but it's not worth bickering about. There's a whole historical timeline of how it worked on the officials, but who cares. It works this way now, and yes, it's slightly more complicated than it most recently was.

so long as you agree that I am totally correct. :)

You aren't correct that its the "old way", but you are correct that the current change changed it from that way to this way. Hehe.
Edit: Sorry, just in the mood to be a semantical turd tonight.

I would never argue with you about anything warrior related...especially when you are saying that I am absolutely and totally correct without qualifications or caveats.

I wonder what our new guru Ildran is cooking up for warriors...
Maybe post cap armor use could be looked at.
