View Full Version : The Arena : What do you want implemented?

I so miss the arena tournaments, that we had a few times. If and when they bring it back (supposedly on their stuff to do... which will never get finished.) what single most aspect would you like to see?
>Implement Gambling including gambling items and not just silvers with other players.
> Mass combat with several players on both sides.
> Capture the Flag. A large arena with obstacles, objective is to infiltrate your opponents camp and take the "flag".
>Special titles. You see War King Leonidas enter from the south.
>Arena points. With enough arena points can purchase things similar to BP items, also can purchase arena only items like chariots or siege weaponry.
> Arena should be huge and commands should be implemented for spectators to watch a particular contestant. So, the arena could transport contestants to a distant battleground, complete with forts and obstacles. Spectators look through a viewscreen and can enter a command such as,
arena view leonidas.
Which would only follow the player leonidas around. and commands like,
arena overview.
Which will give you a quick status of all the arena players, where they are in the arena, and how many points they have acquired etc.

God, you guys suck. Seriously, why don't any of you post your ideas and cool stuff? Ah, thats right your too busy using this game to make money.
Lets do something productive. If you don't want to be productive or don't want to contribute then simply don't click on the title (which you can read).

Dueling arena sounds cool. I've never been in one before though.
For me:
1. New capped hunting area
2. Finish all spell slots
I really like what they've done with 350 and 1150. Despite the fact they've dropped the ball on some stuff theres been some cool stuff done recently. New society too. New capped hunting area doesn't help the majority of the game but its tops on my list.

I'd like to see them make it a pay event...
It's the only fucking way they're going to bring it back.
Hell they should make pay spell slots, then those will finally get finished too!

We have a private arena in Helden Hall. It's pretty damn awesome. Observation deck, fighting pit, all that jazz. It's hot.

That helden hall fighting pit rocks hard. I do like the fact you don't actually die when you're defeated too. No dealings with getting a raise and having your stats all messed up for 10 minutes.

Only took me 10 months to cap my wizard and 13 for my warrior. So it probably won't be anymore than 9 for the monk, that's how awesome i'm going to rock them.

You said "soon to be capped". Guess you're talking Simu soon? But okay, I'll give you nine months from right now to cap your monk and we'll call it soon.
Oh yeah, I'm not really buying the 10 month thing either. That's roughly 25K experience every single day for 10 months straight.

Yep. Rangers were rocking the magical duels. I remember there were at least 5 duels with rangers and they won them all along with a ranger winning the free for all

I miss when enough people played GemStone that I could actually use the excuse of "their name starts with the letter 'K'" every time I felt like pwninating noobs in the Kobold Village.
Also, the second post in this thread.

There's another reason why you can't use that excuse now. The parser actually properly selects mobs over players.

Lame.
We need someone to Plur Icemule while there's still an existing GemStone population.
