Besides, I don't use a new OS until a year after its release. If it sucks, I wait longer. I still don't have Vista and don't plan on it if I can help it.

They opened up Beta slots today.

As far as I'm concerned Microsoft died after XP, they forced me to jump boat to Mac which I'm loving dearly.

You could just overclock your shit without DL'ing Vista. You might lose some e-peen if someone actually cared though.

I've been looking at new gaming rigs and everyone I've talked to is telling me to make sure I get Vista 64 bit.

Some guys in the Tech department run Windows7 and it out performs both XP and Vista(lol) on machines with hardware of equal standing and even machines with slightly worse hardware.

Bought my wife a new laptop with Vista.

Spent two hours trying to get it to link to shared drives on the XP machines that were on my existing home network.

Wiped the laptop and loaded XP.

If my industry was not married to the Windows environment everything I own would run on Linux.
