Just found this, just this second:

a kelyn-tipped rolaren longsword

4x, fire flares

You swing a kelyn-tipped rolaren longsword at a kobold!
AS: +108 vs DS: +76 with AvD: +42 + d100 roll: +44 = +118
... and hit for 12 points of damage!
Hesitant slash to the kobold's upper right arm!
Just a scratch.

** Your rolaren longsword flares with a burst of flame! **

... 35 points of damage!
Right arm scorched so bad it might as well be gone.
The kobold's short sword falls to the ground.
The kobold crumples to a heap on the ground and dies.
Roundtime: 5 sec.

Also gives +3 to ambush ranks, +6 to strength bonus, and +2 to dexterity bonus.

So I am back to the game after a long break. Is the "+3 to ambush ranks, +6 to strength bonus, and +2 to dexterity bonus" a permanent thing or does it have charges?

How about the flares?

It's an enhansive. The additives are temporary. They can be recharged through the adventurer's guild.

The flares are permanent.
