XP Safe Mode ( Forced ) ?

I'm trying to think of a way to force an XP machine to go into safemode so I can run diagnostic. It's a built machine from someone else, so it's not a simple BIOS or just F8 lolz.

Input or discuss, plz.

Do it the bootleg way...

Start up the computer normally... then while the computer is loading up shut it off instantly, just kill the power to it or something fast. Do this while the Windows XP loading screen is still showing.

Then turn the computer back on and it should prompt you saying that it failed to properly load and whether you'd like to enter Safe Mode to diagnose the problem.

Or you know... just boot normaly, run msconfig, select the boot tab, and select "Safe boot".
