Local radio station had a contest today.
Thanks to Fox promoting the hell out of the new season of 24, one of the prizes along with all the usual concert tickets and stuff was all 6 seasons of 24 on DVD along with the Redemption special they just did.
I managed to get through and win. It's something like 40+ DVDs total.
That's a lot of Jack Bauer! Luckily, I love the show. Sure it'll take me like 10 years to watch that much 24 who cares, it was free.

Don't like the show myself, but grats man. I love winning things, even things I won't use.

Damn, our local station was doing that too but you had to be first caller. I'd love that heh.

I watched the first season, then never watched it again. I'm not even really sure why.

:juggle: Congrats.
I don't like/watch 24 either, so it would be E-bay'd if I won it, now if it was the complete collection of House....yah huh

Only radio thing I've ever won was a DVD of phone booth, I called up and had to identify an audio clip of someone "calling them from a phone booth". It was space ghost. When they answered the phone they started by saying "okay we're going to give you a big clue" I cut them off with a "I dont' need a clue, that's space ghost!". Then after the commercial break I heard the other callers... they must have answered like 6 calls prior of idiots not knowing space ghost's voice.
A damn shame.

I was caller number 9 once to win Gallagher tickets.
Was actually a blast.

It's not the content so much as the deliver that makes your comments funny.

Christ. I swung by and picked up the DVDs from the radio today. I was figuring I'd get some box with all the discs in it.
The thing comes in a seriously heavy duty locking waterproof case. Inside was a heavy canvas pocketed jacket a longsleeve tshirt and all the discs. Its a total of 44 discs. :wow:
I doubt I'd ever wear the stuff but it's still cool. Though the jacket would be decent and it's only got Bauer on it in one spot not too bad.

I still think David Palmer would be a better president than any of the douches that have run the last three times.

He would be a awesome real life president.
In the context of the show I pretty much agree. I did start thinking the guy who played the screwed up President did a kickass job.
The character was a dick so I didn't like him. But I definately thought that if they weren't going to have a cool, commanding guy like Mr Allstate Commerical that going with the weasel indecisive guy was a cool way to go. It added to the story.

Nope, Fl. Tampa Bay. Though a couple of our radio stations are syndicated to St Louis.
