Cordie wakes up, comes and shows Angel that is his lastest agonizing over if he is still a hero or not is stupid. He is a hero and gets rid of the bad guys (Eve and Lindsay). Cordie gives him a kiss and begins to leave, because her path is different than his. The phone rings and its the hospital, seems like she never woke up at all and died. Bye Cordie...

Yeah, but pretty much the show's sucked the last year. Joss forgot how to plot. I saw it last night with my lady, and she said, "Did you think even for a second that Spike'd drain Cordie dry?" And I said, "Nope. It'll either be a dream or a fakeout or it's Lindsey getting a Spike emulator from the basement or something." We shrugged.

And there was no foreshadowing in the episode, for anything. Whoops, Cordie's suddenly up again! Whoops, there's Spike looking mean and he's going to bite her! Whoops, there's Cordie dead all the time. You pull that shit too often, and you say, whatever, something new and startling, just like the last twenty new and startlings.

Then you got that the other cast members seem to each have their own eps, but other than that they're nothing but window dressing. Yeah, we get that Gunn's a suit now. Yeah, there's Lorne and he's still green. Woohoo, there are three 28 second scenes of Fred flirting with that lab tech. Yeah, Harmony is still a ditz. Meanwhile, we have the Angel'N'Spike show, with Angel playing Deano and Spike doing Jerry.

Enough already. I won't even go into the illogic of Eve still breathing -- the REAL Angel would have hacked that slag's head off three episodes ago, tossed it into the White Room, and yelled, "You keep sending me backstabbers and I'll keep sending the pieces back to you." (Yeah, Sarah Thompson's a hottie. So? Baywatch this ain't.)

This show used to be about people and it isn't. Sorta like a bunch of roleplayers turned into powerhunters.

There are a few too many characters, true. But I think they're getting them all in where they need to be. Gunn's definitely the next one to go off to never-never-come back land, and I'm not really sure why Lorne's still around. Meh. It'll just be Angel and Spike next ep. We'll see how it goes.
