I'm not going to lie and say that there isn't any drama and people don't randomly shoot fire out of their pie holes for whatever reason. But with all that, this is still an open and free place to post about almost anything and everything and is far easier to find information here than there.

In fact, reading the officials negatively affects my GS gaming experience more than the PC, simply because of the sugar-coated bullshit, and because you can't criticize anything. It's stifling. Here I can at least get it off my chest and feel better afterwards for at least saying it.

Oscuro is the shit too, in person he's a blast, in game he's a bad ass coder and dedicated to a job that has little reward. When we were at the con he was taking notes in a notebook on what Monks spells/abilities should be when everyone else was seeing how fast they could drink (he was drinking as well). That's pretty dedicated.

I have to admit, when I first discovered the PC a year or two ago, I thought you guys were total douchebags. I still do, for that matter. But for the most part, you're helpful douchebags, the kind that really scour a vagina clean. The game mechanics folder in particular is far more helpful than on the officials, but I enjoy just about all of the threads that don't turn into some kind of pissing contest between the PC elite (which happens far too frequently, IMO). I guess I've been hanging around the PC long enough to take offense at DVDMORSE (whom I nearly always disagree with) bashing on the PC, so I suppose some part of me has become a feminine hygiene product too.

I was referring to the all-out flame wars that constantly erupt in PC threads, which, and I say this without judgment, you can't deny being a part of. I don't know how many threads I've seen that have just devolved into the same 5-10 people bashing each other (or just ganging up on one person) in circular arguments for pages and pages and pages. I honestly don't mind the threads that are created expressly for that purpose, but when it knocks an otherwise interesting discussion off track, it's disappointing.
