I have the old laen thimble. It fills up all your health once per day, no roundtime. Good in a pinch but generally I staunch, find an empath and its no issue.

I like cothinar flower/yab fruit specifically because they're one bite each. Not having to put something away cuts down a command when you're healing in the midst of a fight.
