armor and hiding

Maybe I'm just an idiot but I can't seem to find a sure answer on this.

Have they rolled out the penalties for wearing heavy armor and hiding?

I just got into a MBP and it sure as hell feels like it. Maybe I just suck though I dunno.

Anyone know?

No. Actually I was just fooling around in town, and people were seeing me hide that don't normally. Just bad luck I guess..

I went and hunted some seekers after you posted and was hiding from them without any more trouble than normal so... No problems I guess.

Yeah, armor action penalty doesn't affect hiding. You can try putting on a suit that's way above your armor training to lay on the action penalty as heavy as possible and it still won't do anything. There's no change in RT and there's no additional chance to be spotted or caught sneaking.

I think we can expect that change to roll in eventually. Maybe the effects will be minimal as long as you're fully trained for your armor, or maybe it requires a little overtraining than normally physically required. But for action penalty to not affect hiding at all is rather silly (since that means there are no ill effects from undertraining).
