Okay, I just got caught speeding over the Confederation Bridge. I got to the end of the bridge and I saw a bright flash as I drove away. I'm assuming it was a picture of my license plate because I in fact was speeding. How does this stuff work?

I wasn't driving my own vehicle it was my mothers. How would they know it was me? My mother is currently in Florida and there was another passenger with me, my brother. So whats the deal what happens?

I'm sketchin out.

They send the ticket and summons (if you were going fast enough) to where the car is registered and they have to appear in court. Then the registered car owner has to pay the fine, in which they can sue you in small claims court.

Okay so I won't get the fine, my mother will? Couldn't she be like I was in Florida here is proof, how could they give her a ticket?

Also I just did some research and apparently the picture that was taken is for Tourism not speeding. I couldn't find anywhere that said there was speed cameras on the island let alone the bridge. I think I'm safe but still.

Doesn't matter who is driving. They give the ticket to the registered car owner. IF the vehicle was stolen, they might be able to get out of it. Maybe?

Just hope it was for tourism and not speeding.
