Grimswarm Have Crit Weighting?

Well, I was in a warcamp, and lo and behold...this happens!

A Grimswarm troll skirmisher darts behind you quickly and tries to hamstring you with his spear!

Gave me a rank 2 injury, bleeding at 2 per. I currently have a suit of Heavily Crit Padded Full Plate.

I've never used or messed around with Hamstring that much, but is this result normal?

Maneuvers don't give results that normal weapon properties would seem to indicate make sense. I don't think the result you are seeing has anything to do with crit weighting. It has almost everything to do with the fact that maneuvers are their own special beast.

Actually, what caused it is the open roll. You got wtfpwn'd with a 240 end roll.

I was wondering, because doesn't Hamstring take into account the properties of the weapon? Like, if the weapon flared, it would have a chance to flare on the Hamstring, or if it had Crit Weighting, it'd have a chance to cause a higher crit? Shouldn't those effects (Flared armor, padded armor) be applied to the target, or does Hamstring just say "Fuck You"?

I'm pretty sure it can flare. I've never been able to prove that weighting does anything to affect maneuvers though.

Hamstring factors in weighting. That wasn't weighted though, that was just you getting hit by a +200 endroll with a manuever.

Since when can you freaking hamstring with spears though?
