Post about the good times you had this past Christmas.
--------------------------------------
Flying:
Normally I HATE flying anywhere at any time. When I was checking in I got an offer to fly first class if I paid an additional $35 more. After about half a second of decision making I put in my cc with champagne dreams in my head.
It does not end there. Instead of getting my return ticket when I landed, I decided to wait until I arrived at the airport 2 hours before the flight home to see if I could upgrade again. The bet paid off and I paid another paltry sum to sip the bubbly all the way home.
Presents:
Of all the great gifts I received the best one was the scarf my aunt gave me. I had been meaning to go out and get a new one that would add a little flash of color to my usual cool color palate and this one could not have been more perfect.
Family:
Seeing my one year old nephew, my sis and her husband. The little guy is a riot. Seeing both of my remaining grandparents and learning about their lives through the Dust Bowl, Great Depression and WWII up until today.
Food:
One night of good American roast turkey, mashed taters, biscuits, dressing and tons of gravy at my aunts house and another night of puffed tacos, sour cream chicken enchiladas, chili con queso, chips and salsa at El Fenix.
