Care to share?
Mine is getting a new sail boat. Nothing too big, 38'-50'. And taking a vacation for the first time in 6 years. Japan, Ireland, Israel, or Australia maybe...

Are you playing on an og system or an emulator?

I'm using an SNES emulator unfortunately, my original died a few years ago in an unfortunate fight involving tequila, Mario Kart, and a question of cheating with a well-placed red shell at a jump ramp.

Ha "and a question of cheating with a well-placed red shell at a jump ramp." Almost deserves to be in my sig.

Isn't a new years resolution more about changing bad habits and less about buying things?

Mine is to diligently remember to apply Mederma or vitamin E oil to get rid of my horrendous stretch marks....since I've already tackled the weight loss issue.

Hahaha, I know that ramp! Get hit with a shell and BAM, other side! Mario Kart 64 also has it!

I always thought they were for a change period. As that goes, the boat is the first part of me getting out of the US. As for the vacation, I'm an OCD Workaholic Store Manager. So in counter of this I've resolved my self to take some PTO this year even though the thought makes my head hurt. Mostly because my HR dept. is about to put my DM on a rack if I don't. I'm serious when I say, I've not taken a day off in six years, and that includes holidays. I have issues leaving my store in the hands of flying monkeys for more then a day or so.
Edit: Just saw your new Avatar Shari. Good pic. Honestly.

Does that actually work?

Does that actually work?
Yes, as long as it's done when the stretch marks are relatively new.

A little late but here's my list:
Read at least one book that is not about vampires or zombies.
Grow as a person, and stuff.
Put away laundry.
Respond to new years resolution threads faster.

My resolutions are to lose more weight and go back to school.

I don't make resolutions. I'm already doing everything I want to to be doing anyway, except maybe we eat out too much. But we're working on that and have been for awhile, so no need for a resolution.

Nah uh! I guarantee you're happier with your life atm than I am with mine. I can't change where I live right now though. :(
I'm working towards it though!

Pay off my credit cards
Take the GMATs/apply to b-school
Endeavor not to be such an asshole all the time to those around me
Play less GS
Run 3 marathons
Be a better son/brother
I'll be happy to get one of those taken care of this year.

Well I got one crossed off the list.
Student loans out of default and got title iv status back. Just like Rodney I'm going back to school.
Now I just need to pay rent.

I resolved 10 years ago never to make New Year's resolutions. I've managed to keep it every year.

To surround myself with beautiful women and have lots of sex. Like a LOT. And get paid for it. And if there's time GMATs, business school and beat Battletoads...

on emulator? With savestates? I mean that's a pretty hefty resolution right there--I dunno how else you'd be able to do it

To live each day of 2009 to it's fullest rather than worry about the future and be poopy about the past so much.
And after reading this thread...
Spend less time in this chair
Eat more
Get all the crap out of my basement
