I've been trying in vein to find this little mouse side scroller CHOPPER game.
Also been looking for this DOS based star trek combat sim using ASCII symbols and shit.
Hours worth of fun. And you have to use your brains for the ST simulator.
*Sweet found the star trek sim since I last thought about searching a few years ago.

If this is the correct person, please tell me why the stupid fucking monster
comes out from nowhere and eats my main guy before he gets to the bottom of
the hill. Nothing personal, but this is Sunday morning & I really did not
like the idea of getting eaten by the monster this early. What I am really
trying to say is fix the program or stop making games for the likes of me,
who can't win. Actually, you ruined my day. Have a nice one,

It's taking a little getting used to playing on a 23 inch lcd in windowed mode but it's still fun to me.
I have to go over the instructions and commands list again apparently.

Actually whilst cleaning out the garage I found X-wing vs Tie fighter sitting in a box and thought about that as well.
I would so kick ass in that game now with my 1337 flight sim skills.

Found the ansi version I was looking for.
You'll need to add ansi.sys to config.nt if you use XP however.
pm if you need help adding the device line.

I still love Altered Beast on the old atari computer system, that was the shit. We also had one that was a dog fight sim, you could pick/build different planes and weapons and it was 2 player. I would always load up an A-10 Warthog because I thought they were the shit and my dad would always pick a paper airplane with just a gun on it. He'd whoop my ass because he could out maneuver me every fucking time and I never learned.....man I need to find that game.

Anyone ever play this? This game taught me about history at the age of 7 because they had the "are you 18" filtered by a series of questions to prove you were 18.

Weird order, I know, but...ah...memories.
Edit: Also, Sean I do remember playing that Star Trek game briefly, but it wasn't the one I was thinking of. There was one that was loosely Star Trek based, was early internet days. Played it on AOL 1.0 or 2.0, and it was awesome. You and your little dot of a ship (with Star Trek ship names and qualities), would fly about and fight other people playing other star trek races. Was pretty epic for the time. I miss it. Oh my god, also BOLO. Does anyone remember Bolo? That game kept me occupied throughout middleschool. It was one of the first network games I ever played with my friends. They have it for Windows XP now too, developed independently. Winbolo it's called.

Speaking of old online games, does anyone here remember The Sierra Network/ImagiNation Network? There's a guy that's emulated the server end of it, so that you can run the INN software in dosbox and connect up and play Yserbius, Twinion, Sierraland, the clubhouse, larryland, etc with others.. Of course it seems not many people play it..but people do get together on Sunday nights. it's on http://innrevival.googlepages.com
