I assume you're going to make chrisms out of those but if you get a bunch, I'd highly recommend making some high-powered brimstones. They are the ultimate "OH SHIT" button for warcamps, ESPECIALLY trolls. I've got a macro that stows my weapon, grabs a brimstone from my pants and tosses it for those really hairy situations. It'll take up to 7 grims out of the fight either by immediately killing them or forcing them to roll on the ground for a couple rounds.

What kind of training, if any, do they require to use?

To use? None whatsoever. To create, a mixture of blessing, summoning and religion lores.

I hit max 3-4 guys, and I don't do fire damage, so they don't wtfpwn trolls anymore. I wanna say it is plasma.

Although this is good to know, going to have to make a bunch with my cleric and hand em off to my Sunfister.

Before everyone runs off and commissions a bunch of brimstones, be sure that the cleric you use has at least a fair amount of summoning lore. It affects the chance to hit your targets and is the only skill that can be trained to make brimstones better (at least according to krakiipedia).
