I'm sure he means it's "effectively" 8x, ie: 6x enchant +10 from shield use bonus.

Although I don't know that shield use bonus translates 1-1 DS;I think that is dependent on shield size/shield training formulae. I don't know what it is, though, so I'll leave it at that.

aye yes...sorry....had to post that a sec on the fly as my 3 year old and 1.5 year old jumped me

Radom get's 8x usage out of it...and the same innumerable charges have existed for the last year that I've owned it. I tried charging it at the Guild and he said he couldn't fill it anymore..it was already full.

i DID, ya poop. and yeah, basically what Izzy said.

that's also awesome that you've used it for a year and it still doesn't need charging. if i weren't flailing around with a buckler i'd look into that one.
