I like it plenty with some hot sauce.

I just put salt in it. However, it's my third favorite Chinese soup.

Hot n Sour
Wonton (with no pork or shrimp)
Egg Drop

I enjoy egg drop soup.

I like Crab Rangoons (or whatever they are) more and the Chinese place at school let you replace your soup for either a eggroll or crab rangoon and I always replaced it.

Damnit... I can't find a picture of Danny Devito at the swingers party.

There's a place around here that lets you do the same and I always do it.

I'm really not a huge fan of most Chinese soups.

Miso soup however (Japanese), I could eat all day every day. Om nom nom.

Eww, miso soup is icky. It freaks me out how if you don't keep stirring it, it all settles to the bottom like sand. Ug.

Miso soup is ridiculously fantastic. You're obviously unAmerican.

Er... wait.

Crap, did I screw up the elipsis, too?

Damnit, I don't know how to spell elipsis!

It's so delicious though, and tastes good for any meal (miso soup for breakfast = win)

I love Chinese food. I don't care if it's secretly from Mother Theresa's organs.

Wonton soup, egg drop, hot & sour + massive amounts of fried noodles = orgasm. I will learn to speak Chinese based on these fortune cookie inserts.

And spicy pork intestine and the real-deal-Holyfield chickity-China menu is not to be fucked with.

This thread is still weird as hell.

I would kill for some good Tom Yum Kai. I haven't found a decent Thai place since moving to Lansing, though. I really don't want to drive all the way to Ann Arbor for soup. I'd tackle it myself, but it has way too many ingredients that I wouldn't have any other use for.

I really really miss the miso soup packets from Trader Joe's. They were great to take to work and drop in a cup of hot water.

I can take or leave egg drop. I'd rather have hot and sour, but I've had a lot of really bad hot and sour soup since I moved to Lansing.

I really miss San Francisco sometimes.

There's a Cantonese place in Flint thats incredible. Its worth the drive if they're still in business.

I feel exactly the same about Chinese food (and Italian, and pizza, and other stuff) since moving to Atlanta. The only place i've found that has all-around good (yet not the super greasy cheap kind) Chinese food is P.F. Changs. All the small non-chains around here have like one or two good things, but that's it (if that many). I miss NY food so much, heh. I would kill to find some good greasy veggie lo mein in a brown sauce, but other than P.F. Changs (which isn't EXACTLY what i'm looking for), I know it's not gonna happen. If I want hot n' sour though, P.F. Changs has the best i've ever had, even better than NY joints. If only their soup noodles didn't blow.

Egg Drop Soup? Sure let me pay you some money to feed me something that is equal to making out with a hooker that has a sinus infection. No fucking thank you!

Roomie and I are seriously considering a road trip for that sole purpose.

I always prefer Cheesecake Factory Lettuce Wraps. Not that enough time has elapsed since me quitting for me to consider returning for some, but it's not even a fair comparison.

Mmmm.

I've never had theirs. But the rest of the food - I'll take PF Changs over Cheesecake factory just about any day.

Unless I'm craving cheesecake.

I am going to try really hard not to envision sinus infection prostitute run-off the next time I eat any sort of Asian egg drop recipe.

Nabeyaki udon would at least be the sinus infection residue of an extremely classy broad. I'm O.K. with that. Until the herpes clutter my pharynx.
