It's a foreign film (kinda) so I imagine it's not going to be showing everywhere.

I've heard of it but haven't seen it. I gather that it's an attempt at a family movie about... the Holocaust. From reviews, I hear that despite their intention, this book adaptation fails. It is not a family movie. Especially not for younger kids.

That said, I'll probably go see it at some point when I'm already depressed.

I'll wait for it to reach cable. Holocaust movies just aren't holiday fodder for me, sorry.
