This is my biggest fear with Platinum and Savvis outages. I've heard horror stories of NOTHING being replaced due to the game not actually crashing but their ISP, which is out of our control.

Yea, but I've always felt that making that their policy is due more to laziness and shifting blame than anything else. Yes, it is not technically their fault, but it is 100% not the fault of the player. SIMU has known for years that Saavis is a fucking joke of an ISP. They choose to continue to use them. SIMU replacing gear/deeds/sting costs them nothing....not replacing it could cost them accounts, depending on what was lost, and with things the way they are now, any account lost due to BS that can be easily corrected is very bad.

We can't seem to log in to anything remotely to fix things and the games appear
to be up, but not letting anyone log in.

We have a tech on the way in to the office to see what he can see, but this may
be ISP related, so we'll be stuck until that gets rooted out and resolved.
