You're a chef, how can you be unemployed?

People gotta eat!

I was reading the other day where restaraunts in SF are doing about 40% less business than last year. People just can't afford to eat out as often anymore, apparently. Sorry Kuyuk.

I'm sorry to hear that, it sucks.

I was unemployed from July-November. Fucking stressful. I quit my job though but I seriously couldn't stay at that place anymore and I had to leave. I'm still catching up on all my bills though. Seriously sucks.

Well, I'm glad it worked out for you. I bet that is a tough decision to quit in this type of job market without a solid job lined up. But if your in true misery in your job then sometimes you got to leave. You can only take so much.

Yeah... I'm lucky it did work out. Probably was pretty stupid to quit without a job lined up (I had turned down one because I didn't want to work in the business anymore-broadcasting). And trust me I was kicking myself for months, but looking back it was a good learning experience... As stupid as it may sound.

But yeah... that job sucked monkey balls. 3 years was enough.
