What exactly is the story with subdue and creatures that break stuns? The results of (rogue guild) subdue seem almost totally random. I always kind of thought that there were a couple of states that someone could get put into from subdue and that, with repeated subdues, you could work up to the highest level of stun/paralysis/whatever to some extent. Is it totally non-stackable (the only effect the creature feels is from the first one delivered where they were not stunned)?

Here I had the giant down already with a subdue, gave it another one and almost instantly, the giant stands up again:

HR>sub gia
[Roll result: 190 (open d100: 61) Bonus: 33]
You spring from hiding and deliver a blow to a greater ice giant's head!
The ice giant is paralyzed!

[You have 3 repetition(s) remaining.]
Roundtime: 5 sec.

A greater ice giant slowly works her way back into a standing position.

It's based on endroll on whether they're "paralyzed" or just a normal stun.

If you subdue a second time and get a better roll, you can paralyze if they are already stunned but to my knowledge it doesn't stack.

Stun breaking creatures....break stuns, so not sure what your complaint is there.

It was a question. My initial thought was that the subdue stuns stacked in some way and that there should have been messaging in there of it breaking the stun. It is now clear to me why there was no messaging.

correct time-wise it goes based off of the first one does not stack or refresh. paralyzed is actually fully bound and stun usually to their knees or laying down...when you just "daze" them its the reg stun.

however if you daze them the first time...hurry up and paralyze them and still have enough time to kill/attack it...you'll see the effects are different from just the normal dazing messaging. the creatures DS will drop significantly until that first subdue's time is up. i actually believe its a small bug they never bothered to fix really. I actually learned this by luck. i hasted myself then subdue'd like crazy... each subdue it got easier until the critter broke the first one :)
