I'll admit, the game was much too close for my liking. Carolina played much better against the Pats than I expected. I didn't think they'd get more than a touchdown...so kudos to them :) .....BUT!!! A hearty (but good natured) FU! To all the PATRIOT HATERS out there. Party in Beantown this Tuesday!!

Oh it was definately a nail biting game. It was very.. interesting. I did have doubts at times for sure, but we pulled through!

If the Panthers played better than you expected, you're overconfident in the Patriots. I expected a loss by at least a touchdown.

Really Bob? I don't think I was overconfident. Our defense got exploited, though. THAT was what I didn't expect. I wasn't surprised at our offensive performance..although the 2 missed FGs did stun me. But our offense is not our strongsuit. I didn't expect Carolina's offense to do what they did against the Patriots' D. Then again, good call on their end cause they didn't put the ball anywhere near whoever Ty Law was covering most of the time..heh.

Ty Law is awesome, I use him every week in Fantasy Football. If someone could get him and Blaine Bishop off the Titans....that would be an unstoppable duo, in my opinion.

Yeah Stun, man..I friggin LOVE TY LAW. I hope the Pats either bite the bullet on his contract next season or he restructures. He's one of the best corners in the league and he's a true motivator/ team leader. It'll break my heart if he leaves.

Where'd he get to, then? I know in '01 he had a hamstring injury but came back strong for the Titans. I wish the Jags would get some sense and snatch up one of em, seriously. That and a new offensive line.

Denver in 1999 and 1998, then before them, Dallas a couple years before that.
I had alot of money the pats but I still wanted the panthers to win. They played too hard to lose that game. Great game all and all I must say, it sucked someone had to lose it. I give the panthers all the respect in the world.

Man, the Super Bowl didn't even start til Midnight here.... I'm exhausted. I was rooting for the Patriots! I have liked them ever since they won after 9-11. I know it's a bit corny but during that game I kept saying, it's just the year for the Patriots to win! I was ecstatic when they did :D

It was a rather fruitless win. A mere field goal in the last 8 seconds is all it was. I was suprised they made it that far let alone pummeled the patriots bwa ha ha ha. And all i could admire was their defense.

I was really happy they won.
I'm also happy that inertops.com did not accept my credit card. The address bar was too small to fit in my Japanese address, so they wouldn't accept it. I tried to call it in, but I couldn't get the international number to go with my phone card.
I was ready to drop $500 on the pats. It was like saving a bunch of money and still being able to celebrate.

I'm looking down at City Hall Plaza right now and it's a fucking madhouse. No one went to school in Boston today it looks like (there were a hundred kids in McDeathburgers at 8 AM) and they;ve been cheering continuously for three hours now. I don't know what's going to happen when actual football players show up but it'll be a ... OMG, a bunch of high school girls just flashed the Channel 22 newstruck!
