Here is what I am using. Simple junk but keeps me from pulling my calculator out all the time.

=IF((B27>D23),(B27-D23),(D23-B27))

=IF((B28>D24),(B28-D24),((D24-B28)*(-1)))

=IF((D23>B27),(B27),(D23+((D26*2)*(-1))))

=IF((D24>B28),(B28),(D24+((D25*2)*(-1))))
