A 19 year old has a different outlook on life then a 30 year old, etc, etc. Life is a bunch of ups and downs. There are times when you will be happy and sad. Youth tends to have a more positive outlook on life because their future is ahead of them while someone much older who has already achieved or not achieved may have a harder time keeping things positive. This is not always the case im just speaking in general so please don't respond with some lame exception.

Life doesn't suck but i'm frustrated with things a lot. I screwed around a lot when I was a kid and had tons of fun but now i'm paying for it because i'm 27 and still not done with college. Many of my friends, family, and people I know online are having babies and that's frustrating to me because i've been physically and emotionally ready for a few years but we're just not there financially yet. So it's jealousy on that front, and just a desire to move on to the next step in our lives (mine and J), and unfortunately it'll be a couple more years before I can really do that.

I'm also unhappy in Atlanta but I know that's still a temporary thing... just until I finish school.

Plus, I was so excited about my mom coming down for Thanksgiving and it WAS awesome, but she's not herself anymore since my step dad died in July and she probably won't ever be again... and she made me really depressed. We had a long heart to heart this weekend and when I think of her alone back in NY it just makes me sick and makes me angry with myself that I can't be there for her.

So yeah, life doesn't suck but some things are real shit right now!!!

By "South" I assume you mean the places considered "southern" excluding South Florida? Since I believe Florida should be cut in half at Orlando as North and South Florida are two different countries.

I was born in Alabama, and I am 1/2 Puertorican and 1/2 Cajun (Louisiana). North Florida, especially from Jacksonville west to Pensacola is very southern as well as louisiana.

People from Louisiana are as much French as people from Alabama are from England. (though my grandparents did speak french).
