New to Barding

Ok so I just titled my first bard ever and am sort of clueless on what I'm doing. I went with the OHE/Shield spec for bolt defense later on. I'm open to changing that if anyone has a good reason.

Most importantly...what armor should I try to train for? Currently I'm specc'd for double because I noticed anything higher gives spell hinderance but since we are a hybrid class is the hinderance worth the heavier armor?

As armor goes it seems augmented chain is what most go with. I would assume unless you switch to pure bard and don't want to run into the hinderance issues you will stay in the lower armor areas.
